Our own blend of Burmese and Western technique, built around whatever you arrive with. Firm along the back and shoulders, lighter elsewhere, and adjusted as the hour goes rather than set at the start.

Sesame and coconut oil infused in-house with lemongrass, ginger and kaffir lime, warmed and worked slowly into the whole body. The scent stays on the skin for hours - leave the shower until later.

Fully clothed and without oil, our therapists use palms, thumbs, elbows and feet to compress along the body's lines, then opens the hips, shoulders and spine with assisted stretches.

The treatment guests ask for after a day walking the city. Feet and lower legs, worked from the toes up with a firm thumb and a warm balm. Begins with a lemongrass soak and ends at the calves.

A gold leaf and honey mask laid over the face and décolletage, left to settle while the Signature Massage runs beneath it. Two treatments in one hour, timed so that neither is hurried.

Twenty minutes in herbal steam - lemongrass, pandan and kaffir lime in the water - then a full body treatment on warmed skin, which takes the oils far better for it.

Muslin bundles of lemongrass, ginger, turmeric and camphor, steamed and pressed along the muscle in slow passes. The heat does most of the work. Built for stiff shoulders and long-haul legs.

Dried lavender ground with rice bran and a little sea salt, worked over the whole body and rinsed under a rain shower. The gentlest scrub on the menu, and the one to ask for after a day in the sun.

Tamarind pulp, turmeric and coconut, blended fresh each morning. The tamarind's own acids do the lifting, so the grain stays fine - skin comes up bright rather than raw.

Coarse sea salt in warm coconut oil, worked briskly from the feet upward. The most vigorous scrub we offer; tell your therapist at the consultation if you would prefer a lighter hand.

Thirty minutes in the herbal steam room, alone or shared, with cold towels and iced tea left at the door. Taken on its own, or as an opener before anything else on the menu.

A cleanse, a steam, extraction where it is wanted, then a mask chosen for your skin on the day. Finishes with a long scalp and shoulder massage while the mask sets.
